CTC GmbH is a 100% Airbus subsidiary. The safeguarding of Airbus Operations GmbH interests is ensured by two partner representatives.
The board of management consists in Prof. Axel Herrmann and Dr. Jens Walla. Their duties are not exclusively focused on the CTC, but form an extension of their management activities within the EADS group. The operative business is ensured by the head of operations.
4 areas with up to 12 employees ensure an efficient work process and lean organization.
The employees are also allocated specialist areas, industries, or processes - depending on their interests - where they build select expertise. This way, we ensure that we are always up to date in each field.
In total, the CTC comprises approx.:
- 45 permanent employees, 9 of them in production
- 10 students on average, ranging from Airbus trainee to Master's degree student
- We obtain additional energetic support through numerous contracts for work and services with our partner companies.
Also, we cooperate closely with the Airbus organization within the scope of project teams that are allocated to the CTC premises.
